Dear Node Runners, We have some news for you! IMPORTANT: Node runners using HOPRd versions 2.1.0 or 2.1.1, please update to the latest version by August 1st. The upcoming ticket price change may increase ticket redemption frequency and xDai consumption if you haven't customized your node strategies. For further details read through the rest of the announcement. HOPRd 2.1.3 release is out now! Check out the key changes: - Updated the auto-redeeming strategy with a new setting: minimum_redeem_ticket_value. - Fixed validation checks on network objects. - Added the ability to process bytes from the API to send messages. - Disabled optimize_on_close in the SQLite configuration to improve overall performance, connection times, and reduce potential deadlocks. - Removed a safety check for HOPR Safe Balance that could cause database lockups during the indexer syncing process while the Admin UI is open. - Added indexer checksum and current block information to the node/info API endpoint. - Updated websocket handling and REST API. NOTE: We've introduced a new setting, minimum_redeem_ticket_value, in the auto-redeeming strategy with a default value of 30000000000000000000 HOPR, which is equal to 30 wxHOPR. This triggers the auto-redeeming process when the aggregated ticket value reaches 30 wxHOPR or higher. If you're using a custom configuration file, you may want to add this setting; otherwise, the default will apply. If you are running version 2.1.0 or 2.1.1, please follow these steps to update your node to 2.1.3: 🟡 Dappnode users: 1. Go to Dappstore at http://my.dappnode/installer/dnp. 2. Search for HOPR and click on Update. 🟡 VPS / Mac / PC users: 1. Execute the command: docker ps. Next to the container image name europe-west3-docker.pkg.dev/hoprassociation/docker-images/hoprd:stable, please write down the container ID. 2. Execute the command: docker rm -f CONTAINER_ID, where CONTAINER_ID is replaced with the one you wrote down. 3. Execute the HOPRd docker command to start the node. Thank you for your support!
